Even the most well-prepared new mothers are usually bewildered when they are faced with their newborn babies. The mother baby nurse is on hand to teach parents how to care for their babies now that parenthood has begun in earnest. This is not the only care the mother baby nurse gives to the new mother, however; the nurse also watches for bleeding, controls pain, and assesses the health of the mother after the strenuous process of birth.
